A bold warm pink lays the foundation for this piece and is still visible through the texturing of the additional layers. While large sections of earthy greens keep the palette relaxing, hints of bright yellow, chartreuse, and blush pink peek through the grass to compliment the vibrant blue sky.
This property (the historical landmark Battle of Jack’s Shop) is one I drive by often, but it caught my eye on a particular day and just needed to be painted. Similarly, this piece was created to stop someone in a room - to prompt a pause in our busy day-to-day tasks.
The 1.5” gallery-wrap sides of this piece are painted as an extension of the landscape and do not require framing (though a frame could be added if desired). Hardware has been attached and the painting comes install-ready.
