Shipping and FAQ

If you have a question and do not see it answered below, please reach out through the Contact page. I am happy to help.

Shipping and Processing

Where do orders ship from?

1

I package and ship each order from Virginia.  Drop-shipping only happens in rare circumstances and will be communicated in the purchasing process.

When will my order ship?

2

Processing time depends on what you order and the volume of orders I am fulfilling. The most up-to-date processing window is always the one shown at checkout. If you have a time-sensitive order, send a message before purchasing and I can confirm the current turnaround.

Do you offer rush shipping?

3

I can sometimes accommodate rush requests depending on my schedule. Please contact me before placing the order so I can confirm timing and options.

How much is shipping?

4

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your order and destination.

Packaging and Care

How are prints packaged?

1

Prints are kept in protective plastic sleeves with supportive backer-boards. Additional support may be added to flat mailers to keep prints from bending. Larger prints may ship flat or rolled depending on size and what best protects the artwork.

Do prints ship framed?

2

Prints ship unframed unless noted otherwise on the product page.

Do notecards come individually wrapped?

3

No, notecards are packaged as a pack (quantity specified in each product detail).  Individually wrapped cards can be requested with a low charge for the additional packaging. To request individually wrapped cards, please contact me directly.

What if my order arrives damaged?

4

Please contact me within 48 hours of delivery and include photos of the packaging and the damaged item. I will work with you on the best resolution.

Print Quality, Materials, and Sizing

Where do you get your prints?

1

My prints and notecards are locally sourced from Bailey Printing in Charlottesville, VA.

What kind of prints are these?

2

Each print is created from my original artwork and produced on thick, high-quality, acid-free paper.

Do you offer different sizes or materials than what is listed?

3

In most cases, yes. If you are looking for a size print you do not see or would like a canvas wrap print, contact me and I will tell you what is possible.

How should I frame my print?

4

Most sizes are chosen to work with standard frames. You can frame prints with or without a mat. If you want help selecting a frame or mat size, send the print name and the size you purchased and I will recommend a good fit or professional framer.

Notecards and Gifts

Are notecards blank inside?

1

All notecard designs are blank inside.

Can I send a gift directly to someone?

2

Yes. Use the recipient’s address at checkout. If you would like a note included, contact me right after placing the order and include the message you want.

Do you offer gift cards?

3

Yes. Gift cards are available in the shop. They are a good option when you want the recipient to choose the piece that fits their space.

Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations

Do you accept returns?

1

Return availability depends on the item type and condition. If something is wrong with your order, or if you need help, contact me and I will work with you on a fair solution.

What if I entered the wrong shipping address?

2

Contact me immediately. If the order has not shipped, I can update the address. If it has shipped, we will need to rely on the carrier’s forwarding or return process.

Commissions

Do you take commissions?

1

Yes, I work with clients to create art specifically for their spaces. Let’s chat if you have a piece in mind!  Commission spaces are limited based on schedule.

What can I commission?

2

Common requests include fish and fly pieces, landscapes, and botanicals. If you are unsure whether your idea fits, reach out and I will tell you what is possible. I will not recreate another artists’ piece.

How do I request a commission?

3

Use the commission request form and share what you have in mind. Helpful details include subject, size, timeline, and any reference photos or notes.

How much do commissions cost?

4

Pricing varies based on size, medium, complexity, and timeline. After I review your request, I will send a quote and next steps.

How long do commissions take?

5

Timelines vary by size and schedule. I will provide an estimated timeline when I confirm your commission.

Do you require a deposit?

6

In most cases, yes. Deposit and payment details will be provided during the commission confirmation process.

Can I request changes?

7

I will confirm expectations during the process. If small adjustments are needed, we will handle them thoughtfully and clearly.

Are originals available online?

1

When originals are available, they will be listed in the Originals section of the shop.  If you see a piece on a social media platform that is not listed on my site, please contact me to see if and where it is available.  If you see a piece in a gallery, please contact the gallery directly to handle inquiries.

Can I see the original in person before purchasing?

2

Yes, please schedule a time to stop by the studio by using the contact information provided or through the contact form.

Do you ship originals?

3

Yes. Shipping costs vary by size and material.  The appropriate costs will be applied at checkout.

Can I see an original in my space before committing to a purchase?

4

Yes, local clients only have the option to see an original in their space for 24 hours. A card must be put on file and an art lease signed before trying the piece. In the event of damage, the piece must be purchased. During the trial period, the piece will be marked as sold on the website. For non-local clients, I can create a digital mock-up of the piece in your space if pictures are provided.

Wholesale

Do you offer wholesale for shops?

1

Yes. If you are a shop and would like to carry my work, visit the Wholesale page and send an inquiry. Include your shop name, location, and what you are interested in carrying.

How far will you travel for a mural project?

3

I am currently able to travel within 100 miles of Gordonsville, VA for a mural.  Travel fees apply for out of town projects.

Can you protect murals from vandalism?

4

All exterior and commercial projects are finished with an anti-graffiti clear coat.  Residential murals are not unless specifically requested.
